Palace Chores

[20:17] * tahmina{Kate} hears a knock of urgency at the door of the service area and floats over to check out what is needed. Opens the door to find the proprietor's delivery man there with the wooden and ceramic bowls.
[20:18] * tahmina{Kate} steps out of the way so that they can be placed on the floor and curtseys politely for the delivery.
[20:19] * tahmina{Kate} closes the door behind Him as He leaves and begins to unpack the boxes.
[20:24] * tahmina{Kate} takes each bowl and washes them cleaning them and drying them and placing each one into its proper place, drains the water from the sink and tidies the the service area back up. Takes the boxes that they were delivered in and breaks the down and places them in the alley behind the service area of the palace.
[20:27] * tahmina{Kate} pads light footedly into the open foyer, carrying a cleaning cloth and a warm bucket of water and begins to clean the floors, door and furniture, making sure to clean it until food could be served from it. Moves into the throne room and taking a cloth prepared with leather oil, begins to clean the chairs and the floors.
[20:29] * tahmina{Kate} turns to the fireplace and prepares a fire, warming the room and casting a warm glow about the room, pursss at the warmth cast from the fire and continues about her duties.
[20:41] * tahmina{Kate} continues cleaning the palace moving from room to room and then up the stairs. Reaching the top of the steps she turns and enters her Mistress's chambers and cleans the room, making the bed, hanging her Mistress's clean robes, enters the bathing area and retrieves all of her Mistress's robing from this morning, her own sodden tateera and the dirty towels.
[20:42] * tahmina{Kate} heading back down the stairs, with the dirty garments, coverings, and linens, she moves into the wash area and washes each garment seperately, beginning with her Mistress's outer robes and then to Her undergowns. Once those have been washed and hung to dry, she begins to wash her Mistress's towel.
[20:43] * tahmina{Kate} once the towel has been washed and hung to dry, she moves to her own garments and washes them taking great care not to damage them and hangs them, finishing with her own towel.

[20:45] * tahmina{Kate} satisfied with the completion of her chores, she turns and straightens her covering and goes to the foot of her Mistress's chair curling up to wait for Her to return.
